Riding down a bikepath in downtown Maastricht today, I couldn’t help but think of some recent conversations in Portland about paving over two blocks of cobblestones on NW Northrup St. to make way for a new bike lane. Here’s the Dutch solution. Bumpy? Yes. Civilized? Very.
